Would you like to be a CEO?
Do you have a specialty, an expertise, or a lifetime of experience that you think should serve a greater purpose? Whether you want to give back or be part of something larger or you simply want to meet a few friends, volunteering can be enriching and fun.
Come out with a friend or your spouse and volunteer together. Or just come out and meet like minded friends and neighbours. Contribute a lifetime of knowledge and expertise and create value for your community right where you live.
Be a virtual volunteer! Project planning, bookkeeping, social media, computer IT, research are all a great match for virtual volunteering. If you would like to be a virtual volunteer let us know. If you have expertise in the natural sciences your expertise is welcome too!
We appreciate our CEO’s, “Community Event Organizers.” Volunteers can make an event fun and memorable. If you would like to be a CEO contact us and we will keep your name on our roster of interested persons and contact you when we have an event. We look forward yo meeting you.
Time is precious and we appreciate donations of time and energy. Volunteer times are usually for one, two or three hour periods.
We are members of the community and we volunteer. Come out and volunteer with us.
Member Round Tables
Member Round Tables are where members convene. Round Tables will meet from time to time on subjects of importance where members can weigh in and be part of the conversation.
Gathering can be in person or virtual. Virtual options means we can convene with members who are out of the area for part of the year and interested in staying connected. And sometimes it is just a bit easier to meet virtually when weather becomes an issue.
Meeting virtually requires less volunteer resources and is less expensive than meeting in person. We appreciate the efficiencies this offers everyone and it helps ensure we are using donated dollars efficiently.
